Emart24 said on the 4th it will roll out the membership program "All Day 1010 (ALLDAY 1010)," offering simultaneous discounts and rewards in collaboration with the mobile financial platform Toss's easy payment service "Toss Pay (TOSS PAY)."
The "All Day 1010" membership can be used without a separate sign-up process or fees. If customers pay with Toss Pay Money or a linked account by scanning the QR code in the Toss Pay app at Emart24 stores, they receive a 10% instant discount and a 10% reward on all products at the same time.
Combining the discount and rewards yields an always-on benefit of up to 20%, which is viewed as the best in the convenience store industry for payments made with Toss Pay. However, alcohol, tobacco, and certain service items are excluded.
To mark the membership launch, Emart24 will also run a "triangle gimbap 100-won deal" event throughout January. When paying for any triangle gimbap with Toss Pay Money or a linked account, the amount excluding 100 won will be returned as Toss Pay points the following month. Customers can receive up to 5,000 won in monthly payback per Toss account, effectively allowing them to purchase triangle gimbap for 100 won if conditions are met.
Emart24 plans to use the membership to increase store visits by customers in their teens and 30s, Toss Pay's core user base, and to strengthen synergy between the two companies by linking payments and retail.
Han Hyeon-min, a partner on Emart24's sales and marketing team, said, "We will continue to expand partnerships to enhance practical benefits that customers can feel amid high inflation and to increase traffic from younger customers."
