Asung Daiso said on the 24th that it will make early payments of 150 billion won in supply fees to its partner companies ahead of the year-end.
The payment timeline is 9 to 30 days earlier than the industry average. The early payment applies to about 600 suppliers. The goal is to ease the burden on small and midsize partners that face year-end cash flow challenges.
An Asung Daiso official said, "The year-end is a time when a lot of cash is temporarily needed for employee bonuses, wages and payments for materials," and noted, "We decided to make early payments for supplied goods so that small and midsize partners can alleviate their burden."
Asung Daiso has operated a compliance program for fair trade since 2016 to prevent unfair trade practices as part of its win-win efforts with partners. It is also carrying out various activities to support stable business operations.
