Orion Oner's third-generation member Dam Seo-won (35), an executive director, was promoted to vice president. It comes one year after being promoted to executive director in last year's regular executive reshuffle.
On the 22nd, according to Orion Group's 2026 regular executive appointments, Executive Director Dam was promoted to vice president of the Korea unit. The new vice president, Dam, is the eldest son of Orion Group Chairman Dam Cheol-gon and Vice Chair Lee Hwa-kyung.
Born in 1989, the new vice president, Dam, earned a bachelor's degree in communications from New York University and a master's degree in business administration from Peking University. After that, he worked at Kakao Enterprise for two years. In 2021, he joined Orion as senior general manager of the management control part and, while serving as executive director of Orion's management support team, handled on-the-ground tasks such as ▲ establishing and managing the group's business strategy ▲ supporting global business ▲ and new growth businesses.
The new vice president, Dam, was promoted from senior managing director to executive director last year after two years. After that, he became vice president again in one year. In particular, he was also appointed head of the newly established Strategic Management Division at Orion Group. The Strategic Management Division, with a new business team, an overseas business team, a management support team, and a CSR team under it, is responsible for collecting mid- to long-term management strategies for Orion Group, conducting management diagnostics, and improving corporate culture, while overseeing future businesses.
Park Jong-yul, CEO of the Russia unit, was also promoted to vice president. After joining Orion in 1994, Park served as head of the Iksan plant and head of production at the Russia unit, and has been CEO of the Russia unit since 2020. He successfully completed the Tver new plant construction project and is leading growth at the Russia unit by diversifying products such as pies, jellies, and biscuits.
Yeo Seong-il, head of the support division, was also promoted to executive director and appointed CEO of the Vietnam unit. After joining Orion in 2018, Yeo served as head of the Vietnam support division for five years, contributing to strengthening localization and business growth.
