LOTTE Chilsung Beverage said on the 22nd that it received a grade of AA in the "2025 fair trade compliance program (Compliance Program, CP) rating" hosted by the Fair Trade Commission on the 19th.
The CP rating is a system in which the Fair Trade Commission assigns grades for the previous year's CP operations to corporations that have operated a fair trade compliance program for at least one year. It assigns grades by evaluating seven items, including establishing CP introduction and operating policies, support from top management, training programs, and assessment and improvement of program effectiveness.
LOTTE Chilsung Beverage was highly rated for the chief executive officer directly leading the overall introduction and operation of the CP and showing a strong commitment to establishing a culture of voluntary compliance.
It was also recognized for building a system that regularly and directly reports key fair trade issues and risks to the chief executive officer so that compliance factors are reflected from the decision-making stage. In addition, it institutionalized tailored training that reflects the characteristics of each rank and department and strengthened fair trade education for all employees, including the representative director and other senior executives.
It also received positive reviews for establishing a monitoring system that identifies and manages fair trade-related risks in advance and operating a preemptive management system that detects and improves potential risk factors early through internal inspections and monitoring.
Meanwhile, LOTTE Chilsung Beverage, the first in the beverage industry in 2019, introduced the "anti-bribery management system (ISO 37001)" and, in 2021, became the first in the beverage industry to obtain certification for the "compliance management system (ISO 37301)."
