Lee Woo-bong, the overall CEO who has also served as head of Pulmuone Foods, will oversee all domestic and overseas businesses while directly leading the newly established future business division to push future businesses in earnest.
To strengthen companywide AX (AI transformation) innovation capabilities, the newly created AX Innovation Office will be led by Deputy Minister Kim Seong-hun.
New head Chun graduated from Seoul National University's department of animal science and earned a master's in marketing from Sogang University, then served as head of sales and other posts at CJ CheilJedang starting in 1990. Pulmuone said that since joining Pulmuone Foods in 2019, Chun has led revenue growth based on stable organizational management and strategic execution as head of sales and head of sales operations.
AX Innovation Office head Kim earned a bachelor's in economics from Ajou University and a master's in management information systems from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, and worked at IBM Korea as a cloud business expert starting in 2006. After joining Pulmuone in 2020, Kim served as head of digital innovation and drove work innovation based on artificial intelligence (AI) and data, building the companywide AX innovation foundation.
Meanwhile, Pulmuone said that in this personnel move it announced the promotion to E3 (president level) of Chun, who will carry out key management tasks with overall CEO Lee; Lee Dong-hoon, head of Pulmuone Food & Culture; and Kim Tae-seok, head of the Pulmuone Technology Institute.
