Lotte Duty Free said on the 9th that it has exclusively released in Korea the premium whisky "ARC-54" from premium Scotch whisky brand "Bowmore," priced in the 100 million won range. Only 130 bottles are produced worldwide, making it highly rare.
Starting today, Lotte Duty Free will sell one bottle each at its Gimpo Airport store and online duty-free shop. The price is $79,000 (about 120 million won). In Korea, bottle No. 18 and No. 99 of ARC-54 are available. ARC-54 is also being sold one bottle each at Lotte Duty Free's Singapore Changi Airport store and Australia's Melbourne Airport store.
ARC-54 was created in collaboration with the British sports car brand Aston Martin. Inspired by Aston Martin's hypercar Valkyrie, it features a distinctive bottle design that creates a reflective effect as if the whisky inside is flowing.
Distilled in 1968 and aged for 54 years in European oak sherry butts and American oak hogsheads, then blended for 15 months, the whisky offers harmoniously interwoven notes of vanilla, butterscotch, and rich fruit, while also delivering the intense smoky character of peat and herbal aromas.
Starting today, Lotte Online Duty Free is holding a Bowmore whisky special exhibition. Customers can find the "Appellation" collection, which adds the appeal of wine to whisky. It plans to sell items such as "Bowmore 14-year-old Bordeaux Wine Cask Finish" and "Bowmore 16-year-old Ruby Port Cask Finish."
