Otoki said on the 9th that it released a new product reinterpreting bungeoppang, a quintessential winter snack, with a churros vibe: "Churros mini bungeoppang, two varieties (choco, matcha)."
"Churros mini bungeoppang" enhances flavor by adding a cinnamon note to churros batter, while the filling delivers a chewy texture. It is characterized by a bite-size form for easy enjoyment.
The product comes in two flavors. It offers a trendy dessert experience with "choco," which adds a hazelnut aroma to chocolate, and the increasingly popular "matcha."
The two "Churros mini bungeoppang" varieties are available for purchase through various online and offline retail channels, including the official brand mall "Otoki Mall."
An Otoki official said, "We reinterpreted bungeoppang in a churros style so it can be enjoyed as a year-round dessert," adding, "Through the convenience of the small size and new flavor combinations, we aim to offer a fresh dessert experience not only to the 10s–30s demographic but also to a wide range of consumers."
