Global beauty corporations APR Co. said on the 8th that it delivered a donation of HK$1 million (about 180 million won) to Yan Chai Hospital, a public hospital in northern Hong Kong, to support swift recovery efforts at the site of the apartment fire disaster.
The donation is intended to share in the pain of Hong Kong residents facing a major disaster, reflecting empathy for the severity of the local damage and a commitment to help the site return to normal as quickly as possible.
APR Co., while expressing condolences and sympathy for the tragedy, decided to donate to support affected residents and bereaved families and to help restore homes as soon as possible. The funds will be used not only for financial assistance, such as purchasing daily necessities for residents in the affected area and living support, but also for recovery services, including medical services and psychological counseling.
An APR Co. official said, "We extend our deepest condolences and sympathy to everyone affected by the fire, and we hope APR Co.'s donation will offer even a small comfort to the Hong Kong community," adding, "We hope residents can return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
