Youngone Outdoor said on the 4th that a full inspection related to the recent mislabeling of down blend ratios in its flagship brand The North Face found problems in a total of 13 products. The company plans to proceed with refunds.
The North Face said in a notice on the 3rd, "We have launched a full inspection of all down product sales volumes across all distribution channels and have so far identified 13 products with misprinted filling blend ratios and completed corrections."
The disclosed products with misprinted filling blend ratios are 13 items, including: ▲ Men's Remaster Down Jacket ▲ Men's Water Shield Nuptse Jacket ▲ 1996 Retro Nuptse Vest ▲ 1996 Retro Nuptse Jacket ▲ Nuptse Short Jacket ▲ Novelty Nuptse Down Jacket ▲ 1996 Nuptse Air Down Jacket ▲ Lofty Down Jacket ▲ Puffy On EX Vest ▲ Cloud Nuptse Down Vest ▲ Arenal Jacket ▲ Sky Down Vest ▲ Novelty Nuptse Down Vest.
The North Face said, "We offer our deepest apologies," adding, "We feel a heavy sense of responsibility for the mislabeling of filling blend ratios, and we are deeply sorry for causing great disappointment to customers who trusted and purchased our products."
It added, "We will individually provide step-by-step guidance on the refund process, including a contact number, to customers who purchased the relevant products during the period when product information was misprinted."
