Dongwon Home Food said on the 3rd that it signed a sauce supply contract with the Asia headquarters of Chick-fil-A, a leading chicken sandwich franchise in the U.S. market.
Chick-fil-A is the No. 3 quick service restaurant (QSR) brand by sales in the United States. Based on menus made with high-quality ingredients and friendly service, it operates more than 3,000 stores worldwide. It is currently expanding its global business to Asia, including Singapore, as well as Canada, the United Kingdom, and Puerto Rico.
Dongwon Home Food plans to supply 11 products, including seven dipping sauces such as the signature "Chick-fil-A Sauce" and four dressings—balsamic and Italian—to Chick-fil-A's first store in Asia, the first Singapore location. In particular, it also developed a "spicy chili" sauce tailored to the Singapore market. Next year's annual export volume is expected to be about 70 tons (t).
