Seo Ho-jung (30), the second daughter of Amorepacific Group Chairman Seo Kyung-bae, sold 62,382 shares of Amorepacific Holdings on the market. The amount is equivalent to about 1.948 billion won.
Amorepacific Holdings disclosed on the 28th that Seo Ho-jung sold 56,643 shares and 5,739 shares over two days on the 24th and 25th. The company said it was to raise funds to pay gift tax.
With this stock sale, Seo Ho-jung's stake in Amorepacific Holdings fell from 2.55% to 2.49%. In May 2023, Chairman Seo gifted Seo Ho-jung 672,000 common shares and 1,728,000 preferred shares of Amorepacific Holdings.
Seo Ho-jung is paying the related taxes in six installments from 2023 to 2028 through deferred installment payment. In July this year, Seo Ho-jung joined the group subsidiary Osulloc's PD (Product Development) team and is working as a staff member.
