CNTUS's workwear (work uniform) brand "AerWorks" has moved to expand its business in the greater Seoul area. The goal is to strengthen its footing in the domestic workwear market, where it is drawing attention not only as uniforms worn on-site but also as everyday wear with function and individuality.
AerWorks on the 27th opened the AK Plaza Geumjeong store in Gunpo, Gyeonggi Province, and held an official brand launch event. After opening its first store in June in the Noksan District of Busan, AerWorks has opened stores in the greater Seoul area this month in succession. On the 14th, it opened the Suwon Gwonseon store.
Ha Chun-uk, CEO of CNTUS, said, "We aim to go beyond a simple brand launch and present a new standard called a platform in the domestic workwear market," and added, "Through work uniforms that combine safety, technology, and style, we will create a workwear culture in which people working on-site can express their individuality."
CNTUS, the parent company of AerWorks, started as a filter specialist and is well known for industrial masks. While supplying masks at industrial sites, it identified demand for workers' uniforms and entered the workwear market.
AerWorks serves as the first in Korea to import and sell Japan's five leading workwear brands. They are BURTLE, I'Z FRONTIER, GRACE ENGINEER'S, TS DESIGN, and XEBEC.
The workwear introduced by AerWorks prioritizes practicality such as the functions and safety of conventional work uniforms, while also incorporating design and lifestyle elements. According to the company, it targets not only actual workers but also customers who pursue distinctive fashion or are outdoor enthusiasts.
AerWorks has about 1,000 types of workwear products. Going forward, it plans to further segment its lineup by occupation, body type, work environment, and style, while also unveiling various product categories that workers need, such as masks, safety shoes, hard hats, and tools.
In addition to CEO Ha and other CNTUS officials, executives from Japan's BURTLE, GRACE ENGINEER'S, and XEBEC attended the event. Actor Kim Min, a new model for AerWorks, and ambassador Jung Su-bin, a professional billiards player, also took the official stage to introduce the brand.
