Samyang Foods said on the 27th that to mark the launch of its premium ramen "Samyang 1963," it will operate a pop-up store in Seongsu-dong for one week from the 28th to Aug. 4.
The pop-up store will operate under the concept of a "premium ramen bar." To efficiently manage wait times caused by cooking ramen, entry will proceed sequentially after Naver advance reservations or on-site reservations.
If advance-reservation visitors taste "Samyang 1963" in the tasting zone set up inside the pop-up store and write an evaluation, they will receive a "Samyang 1963 exclusive tumbler." On-site reservation visitors will be provided with an exclusive tumbler filled with prepared "Samyang 1963," and after freely tasting it around Seongsu-dong and returning, they can receive the washed exclusive tumbler. A social networking service (SNS) certification event will also be held for visitors who have finished tasting.
A Samyang Foods official said, "We planned this event to help people focus on the beef tallow flavor that 'Samyang 1963' offers," adding, "We will continue to present various content to deliver a differentiated brand experience."
