SSG.com said on the 23rd that it will take part in the November Korea Seafood Fair, hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, through the 26th and offer up to 40% off seafood for kimchi-making season.
Tongyeong raw oysters are 30% off and red scallops are 40% off. It also prepared essential kimchi ingredients such as salted shrimp, anchovy fish sauce, and solar salt, as well as popular seafood including pollock, mackerel, squid, yellow croaker, dried anchovies, and hairtail.
With "SSG weekly delivery," which departs from Emart's rear logistics facilities, orders placed by 1–2 p.m. can be delivered the same day.
An SSG.com official said, "We hope this event, prepared with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, will help ease the burden of prices during the kimchi-making season."
