Nongshim said on the 17th that it will launch the new cup noodle product "Noodle Fit shrimp soup flavor" on the 24th.
Noodle Fit shrimp soup flavor was developed so consumers can enjoy the broth taste of Nongshim's steady-seller "Shrimp Soup" without worrying about calories. It uses the same toppings unique to shrimp soup, such as shrimp balls and shrimp-flavored fish sheets, and features thin, transparent glass noodles made with mung beans.
The Noodle Fit brand's signature low-calorie design is applied. Nongshim said it has a total of 130 kcal for easy enjoyment and contains 1,500 mg of dietary fiber to help with meal management.
A Nongshim official said, "Noodle Fit shrimp soup flavor is a product for consumers who want to enjoy the appeal of familiar broth ramen in a lighter way," and added, "We will continue to strengthen taste, ingredients, and convenience to introduce a variety of products and enhance the Noodle Fit brand."
With the launch of Noodle Fit shrimp soup flavor, Nongshim now offers a total of four cup noodle steady-seller series, following "Yukgaejang bowl noodle flavor," "kimchi bowl noodle flavor," and "fried udon flavor." Nongshim noted that its strategy is to allow consumers to enjoy the flavors of its steady-seller cup noodles lightly and without burden through the "Noodle Fit" brand.
