Hotel Shilla said on the 17th it will launch five "Holiday Special Cakes." Among them, the top-tier product, "The Finest Luxury," will be sold for 500,000 won.
"The Finest Luxury" features 100% wild white truffles harvested only in winter. The price is up 100,000 won from last year's black truffle-based "The Taste of Luxury" (400,000 won).
Because it uses highly scarce, in-season truffles, sales are limited to a maximum of three per day.
The premium lineup also includes "The Joyful Shilla Bear," which uses the company's signature character. It is a bear-shaped cake with a total of six flavors and is priced at 350,000 won.
A value lineup was also prepared. ▲ "Noir Truffle Mini," which captures truffle aroma ▲ "White Holiday," in the shape of a tree ▲ "Luminous Red," based on red velvet, were introduced together as three products in the 100,000-won range.
The Holiday Special Cakes will be rolled out sequentially starting on the 24th.
