SPC Samlip said on the 14th that it has launched a new product, the Pikachu choco banana Poké Ball cake, created in partnership with Pokémon Korea and featuring the popular Pokémon Pikachu.
The new product was planned to bring everyday fun to consumers for the year-end season. As a play-type dessert that captures Pikachu's cheerful image, when the Poké Ball on top of the cake is cracked, a yellow choco-banana–flavored cake reminiscent of Pikachu appears. In addition, five random Pokémon Tibu-Tibu-seal (removable stickers) are included.
The new product features a cake sheet filled with chocolate filling, combined with banana cream and chocolate balls. SPC Samlip said the sweet yet moist, melt-in-your-mouth taste creates harmony, making it a dessert anyone can enjoy.
It can be purchased through the Samlip online mall and KakaoTalk Gifts. In particular, purchases made through KakaoTalk Gifts come with a Pikachu topper.
To mark the launch, SPC Samlip plans to hold a launch event via Kakao Shopping Live at 7 p.m. on the 15th. Among customers who verify their purchase at that time, the first 500 will receive one box of Frozen Jellyppo with Pikachu printed on it, and the first 100 will receive a Pokémon Tibu-Tibu-seal book. An additional 7% discount is offered when paying with Kakao Pay.
