SPC Samlip said on the 13th it will launch a "single-pack hoppang" so people can enjoy its signature winter snack, Samlip Hoppang, easily and without burden. The move allows customers to buy Samlip Hoppang one at a time, reflecting the rise in single-person households.
The single-pack hoppang comes packaged in a patented "Hojjimpack." Heat it in the microwave as is, in the bag, to enjoy moist hoppang as if freshly steamed. The Hojjimpack uses a patented technology in which a vent forms automatically once the steam pressure inside the packaging reaches a certain level during cooking, so you do not need to open it in advance and the moisture is retained.
In addition to three steady-sellers (sweet red bean, vegetable, pizza), the single-pack hoppang adds four varieties that highlight Korean flavors amid the K-food craze: ▲ authentic sweet red bean that brings out the sweet red bean paste ▲ Song-song vegetable with vegetables and pork in bulgogi sauce ▲ hearty pizza with meat, ham, and cheese in rich tomato and ragù sauce ▲ kimchi-mandu hoppang with kimchi and meat.
An SPC Samlip official said, "We introduced the single-pack hoppang so people can enjoy Samlip Hoppang easily and conveniently even when alone," adding, "We hope Samlip Hoppang will be a solid everyday meal for you this winter."
