Msbeverage, the official importer of Sapporo Beer in Korea, said on the 6th it will release the winter limited edition "Sapporo Winter Story."
The newly unveiled "Sapporo Winter Story" is a seasonal winter beer brewed each year with a different recipe using the best malt and hops selected that year. This year, the amount of top-grade fine aroma Saaz hops from the Czech Republic was increased to enhance the aroma, and the distinctive smooth finish of wheat malt was highlighted.
In particular, the alcohol content is set higher at 5.5% than the existing product. Msbeverage said it carries the meaning of being a representative winter beer that soothes the season's cold.
This year's product packaging was designed to intuitively evoke a winter mood. The front depicts winter with snowflakes reminiscent of a snowy scene. An illustration was added on the back to convey winter sensibilities and the brand story.
A Msbeverage official said, "The representative beer that can be enjoyed only in winter, Sapporo Winter Story, has returned to Korean consumers this winter as well," adding, "With its signature refined flavor and smooth finish, plus the special quality available only in the winter season, we hope this product helps you create a happy winter story."
