CJ CheilJedang said on the 4th that it has expanded its Hetbahn Rice Plan lineup to include fried rice, rice balls, and porridge to target the slow-aging trend.
According to CJ CheilJedang, although the Hetbahn Rice Plan brand has been on the market for less than a year, cumulative sales have surpassed 10 million units. Noting that meal plans for slow aging continue to grow, CJ CheilJedang planned seven new products to provide a wider range of choices.
Hetbahn Rice Plan fried rice and rice balls are the first frozen Rice Plan products. They use recipes from slow-aging meal plans by Dr. Jeong Hee-won, known for lectures on slow aging.
The fried rice products were released in two flavors: Hetbahn chicken breast brown rice and oat kimchi fried rice, and garlic fried rice. The rice ball products were also released in two flavors: Hetbahn paro-konjac chicken rib rice balls and Cheongyang chili rice balls. All the new products are high-protein, made with a variety of mixed grains and chicken breast.
The porridge lineup includes three products: paro mung bean chicken porridge, oat beef porridge, and paro whole grain porridge. They come in two formats: pouch and plastic container.
A CJ CheilJedang official said, "We launched these products in response to consumers who want every meal to follow a slow-aging diet," adding, "We hope you will practice a variety of slow-life routines using Hetbahn Rice Plan."
