Lotte Homeshopping said on the 28th that it decorated Seonyudo Station near its headquarters with its own character "Bellygom" and created photo zones.
Since on the 24th, the exterior wall at the station exits has been wrapped with designs featuring Bellygom and sub-characters Kkonyangi (cat), Self-obsessed (hedgehog), and Yeongdeungpo District character "Yeongrongi."
The exit toward Seonyudo Park features Bellygom riding on a cloud under the concept of "rest," while the section adjacent to the commercial district toward Yangpyeong-dong captures lively scenes of Bellygom and the sub-characters under the theme of "joy." Inside the station, Bellygom-designed signboards introducing nearby spots such as "Seonyudo Library" and "Anyangcheon Hwangto-gil" were installed.
This Seonyudo Station renovation was planned to invigorate the local community through Bellygom's friendly image.
In July, Lotte Homeshopping signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Yeongdeungpo District Office for "regional culture promotion and revitalization of the local economy" using Bellygom's intellectual property (IP). Since then, Bellygom has been used at local events such as the Yeongdeungpo water play festival "Great Summer Escape," the beer festival, and "October's Seonyu."
