Global Sae-A Group said on the 27th that it has appointed current group-wide Vice Chairman Kim Ki-myung as vice chairman and CEO of Global Sae-A, the group's holding company.
Kim served as head of Walmart Korea and CEO of Choe Shin Trading, and joined Global Sae-A Group in 2007 as president and CEO of In the F.
After serving as head of the U.S. operations for Sae-A Trading, president and CEO of Global Sae-A, and president and CEO of Ssangyong E&C, Kim took on the role of group-wide vice chairman and has now been reappointed as CEO of Global Sae-A.
Kim has extensive experience and expertise across management, including planning, finance, marketing, and human resources. Kim has also served widely as CEO of group affiliates and in key posts, and is regarded as the right person to improve the group's fundamentals and enhance profitability.
The company said it expects Kim, as head of the holding company, to further strengthen responsible management and play an even more central role in laying the foundation for the group's sustainable growth.
Meanwhile, CEO and President Sim Cheol-sik of Global Sae-A was appointed president and CEO of Jeonju Paper and Jeonju Onepower, and Vice President Jeong Dong-ha of Jeonju Paper was appointed vice president of Tailim Paper and Dongwon Paper.
