Daesang Group said on the 24th it will accelerate AI-centered work innovation (AX·AI transformation) by introducing its self-developed AI platform, "Daesang AI," companywide.
The rollout is designed to have AI support repetitive tasks with the goal of boosting employees' work efficiency and productivity. The platform is equipped with core large language model (LLM) functions such as web search, document summarization, report writing, and translation, helping employees focus on strategic and creative work.
AI web search and image generation functions are integrated. It also supports major global languages, including Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, and Arabic, and can handle various document formats.
Daesang Group will make 2026 the first year of its AI work transition and begin building an "AI agent" that fully performs certain tasks. It will first pursue tasks expected to be effective, such as research support and sales report automation. With AI agents in place, automation can be implemented across office work, and work efficiency is expected to rise dramatically. AI is also being actively used in marketing.
Gwak Moon-gyo, head of the DT Promotion Office at Daesang Holdings, said, "We will push a Generative AI-based work transition and create an environment where employees can focus on high value-added work."
