Global outdoor brand The North Face of Youngone Outdoor said on the 22nd that it has released the 2025 new product of its global steady-seller "Nuptse," the "Remastered Nuptse down jacket."
The Remastered Nuptse down jacket uses recycled down filling that has obtained the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), an international recycling certification. This certification is known to be a higher grade than the Recycled Claim Standard (RCS), which merely certifies "contains recycled material," by verifying consistency and transparency in product production and management structures.
Functionality has also been strengthened to prepare for abnormal winter climates. Polyethylene yarn with more than three times the tear strength of general materials is applied to the shoulders to enhance durability. In addition, a seamless construction method is applied to maintain excellent warmth without concerns about heat loss or down feathers escaping through stitch lines.
In addition, The North Face's proprietary functional fabric with excellent waterproofing, windproofing, and breathability, "DRYVENT," is applied to the shell to effectively block external snow and rain and maintain a comfortable fit.
Meanwhile, the Nuptse down jacket was first released in the United States and elsewhere in 1992 and has been loved worldwide for more than 30 years as a signature product of The North Face. The name comes from "Nuptse," the name of a representative peak in the Himalayas.
