Paris Baguette said on the 17th that it will participate as an official sponsor in the "2025 APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Summit," which will be held in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, starting on the 27th.
Paris Baguette plans to showcase the taste and appeal of K-bakery on a global stage bringing together leaders and government delegations from the 21 APEC member economies, key business figures, and the press. Paris Baguette will also operate a cafeteria at the International Media Center during the summit. Previously, it operated the media center cafeteria at the 2010 G20 Leaders Summit on Finanical Markets and the World Economy in Seoul and at the inter-Korean and North Korea–U.S. summits in 2018–2019.
During APEC, Paris Baguette will present products that reinterpret Korean traditional elements and flavors in a modern way at the Concluding Senior Officials' Meeting (CSOM) and the APEC Ministerial Meeting (AMM). Offerings include "Paba dried persimmon pound," which carries the story of the Korean folktale of the tiger and dried persimmon; "Paba yakgwa tigre," a baked tigre pastry topped with the traditional snack yakgwa; "Hello sand," themed on an East-meets-West encounter with caramel made from the traditional ingredient grain syrup between butter cookies, whole perilla seeds, and macadamias, and featuring Korean traditional patterns and a message of "hello" on the surface; and "Blue Label high-protein seoritae castella," which uses high-protein black beans (seoritae) as a raw ingredient and adds depth of flavor with patented main-fermentation technology and aged rice nuruk.
A Paris Baguette official said, "We are very honored to be part of this important national event inviting leaders and global figures from around the world," adding, "We will do our best to leverage Paris Baguette's product and service capabilities to help ensure the event runs successfully."
