Myeon Sarang, a company specializing in noodles and sauces, said on the 25th it will introduce Italy's Villa Grimelli "Organic Apple Cider Vinegar" and Türkiye's Ankara (Nuh'un Ankara) "tricolor animal-shaped pasta." Aimed at the health management trend and the children's school meal market, the move appears to strengthen its lineup of global (overseas) premium ingredients.
The 100% organic apple cider vinegar is made by grinding whole apples, cold-pressing them, and aging in oak barrels using a traditional method, which results in a high content of the "mother of vinegar" produced during natural fermentation. Ankara tricolor animal-shaped pasta is a natural tricolor pasta made with tomato, spinach, and durum wheat. Shaped like animals such as cows, rabbits, ducks, and elephants to capture children's interest, it is a B2B (business-to-business) product targeting the school meal and kids markets.
Starting with this new product launch, Myeon Sarang is moving to strengthen the lineup of existing products from global importers. Representative products include Italy's authentic brands: ▲ La Molisana pasta ▲ Ranieri extra virgin olive oil ▲ Villa Grimelli Modena balsamic vinegar gold label and balsamic glaze ▲ Türkiye's authentic brand Ankara pasta.
Through this, Myeon Sarang is enabling consumers to experience authentic food culture at home while also offering differentiated product choices to B2B customers such as restaurant operators and institutional meal providers. Ko Eun-young, executive director of Myeon Sarang's marketing office, said, "We will continue to source and supply good food ingredients from Korea and overseas."
