Hyundai Department Store said on the 21st it will run the "Warm resource circulation project," under which, if you buy one upcycled padded vest made with outdoor brand Snow Peak Apparel, one of the same product will be donated to people vulnerable to cold waves.
Hyundai Department Store produced the "Hyndi upcycle down vest" in collaboration with GAMSUNG Corporation, the operator of Snow Peak, using 360 kg of duck and goose fill secured from padded items donated by customers.
It will be sold in a limited batch of 1,500 pieces at the Hyundai Department Store Pangyo branch pop-up store, which runs from the 26th to the 12th of next month, and on The Hyundai.com, Hyundai Department Store's online mall. Customers who donate apparel at the pop-up store can also receive discount coupons and H Points.
Hyundai Department Store also plans to deliver 10,000 recently donated plastic toys, sorted toys, and newly made book stands to local community child centers.
