SK Stoa said on the 18th that it has overhauled its broadcast screen by implementing real-time two-way communication using an AI (artificial intelligence) show host for the first time in the industry. Through this, it plans to go beyond the "recorded broadcast," a structural limitation of conventional data home shopping, to strengthen the customer experience and maximize performance of broadcast products.
The AI show host, first unveiled last year, has been upgraded. Based on AI voice actor technology, it can generate voice and lip-sync in response to real-time message input, providing purchase guidance in real time that fits the broadcast context.
SK Stoa also improved the quality of information provided by using an immersive UI (user interface) and UX (user experience). Questions from customers delivered via mobile or a consultation call are immediately shown on the broadcast screen, enabling real-time two-way communication.
In addition, leveraging the characteristics of data home shopping, it automatically applies held coupons and reward points with TV login alone and links this with mobile to provide a consistent shopping experience.
Yang Maeng-seok, CEO of SK Stoa, said, "We will open a new chapter in TV commerce through communication innovation that captures customers' attention," adding, "We will continue to raise the level of AI and data utilization to provide optimal benefits and experiences on TV and mobile."
