Daesang said on the 17th that ahead of the Chuseok holiday it donated 24,705 Clean Garden antibiotic-free grade 1 eggs to 24 social welfare facilities in Sejong.
According to Daesang, a handover ceremony for the donated goods was held the previous day at the Sejong City Council on Social Welfare. Attendees included Lee Tae-seong, Daesang egg marketing Head of Team, Park Ju-an, Sejong City Council on Social Welfare Secretary-General, and Ahn Jong-rak, Livestock Environmental Management Institute chief operating headquarters head.
This activity is part of the "business agreement to contribute to improving the livestock environment through corporations' participation," signed with the Livestock Environmental Management Institute in 2023. Through this, the company plans to help improve the livestock environment and contribute to an eco-friendly, mutually beneficial structure with the local community.
The Clean Garden antibiotic-free grade 1 eggs donated by Daesang this time are certified antibiotic-free by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and will be delivered to a total of 24 welfare facilities in Sejong, including children's centers, nursing homes, and welfare centers for people with disabilities. Earlier, during the Seollal holiday, it also donated 13,500 "Clean Garden animal welfare fresh eggs" to social welfare facilities in Sejong.
