Kolmar Korea said on the 10th that it will participate as the exclusive manufacturing sponsor of "Amazon Beauty in Seoul 2025," which will be held on the 19th at the Grand Ballroom of COEX in Seoul.
Now in its second year following last year, the event is designed to bring together industry stakeholders—including cosmetics manufacturers, brands, distributors, influencers, and investors—in one place to share strategies for entering the global market and to seek practical collaboration opportunities.
As the official sponsor of this event, Kolmar Korea will seek co-growth strategies with K-beauty client companies. To that end, it will operate consultation booths for new businesses and overseas expansion not only for current clients but also for prospective clients.
Kolmar Korea will also showcase AI-based skin diagnosis technology and propose directions for targeting the global market. Vice Chairman Yun Sang-hyun of Kolmar Group will give a lecture in the first session, "Global vision," on the theme "K-beauty success from the perspective of a cosmetics manufacturer."
From Amazon, Melis Del Rey, vice president in charge of the Beauty & Health category, and Allie Ooasta, vice president of marketing, will take the stage. They will explain why Amazon is the optimal platform for K-beauty to expand and brand-building strategies for targeting the U.S. market. Global influencers will also join to introduce the appeal of K-beauty from the consumer's perspective.
A Kolmar Korea official said, "This event is a place to directly confirm strategies and opportunities for the global expansion of the K-beauty industry," adding, "We will actively support domestic beauty brands to succeed in the global market and fulfill our role as a reliable partner that grows together with K-beauty."
