Conference and community platform Ditto&Ditto said on the 10th that it will hold "2025 Seoltex (Seoul Tex and Tech)," where fashion-tech corporations gather in one place, for two days starting on the 25th of this month at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul.
Seoltex is a fashion-tech conference that Ditto&Ditto has hosted since 2023. This year, it will be co-hosted with fashion-tech startup Mass Adoption.
This year's Seoltex, under the theme "CO:EVOLVE K-Fashion To The Future," sheds light on an era of collaboration in which brands, technology, supply chains, and channels evolve together beyond consolidation.
Starting with a keynote speech by Kim Hoon, creative director of Karl Lagerfeld, it will present innovation cases from a user experience (UX) perspective, including examples of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) at SHINSUNG TONGSANG and Attrangs.
In addition, representatives from Japanese e-commerce company Shoplist, China's e-commerce Tmall, and Xiaohongshu will discuss ways to invigorate global business through cross-border e-commerce, including local consumer analysis and comparisons of the competitiveness of Korean brands.
On the afternoon of the 25th, after the conference, a networking session will be arranged for executives from fashion corporations and executives from tech and sourcing (procurement) corporations to come together.
The organizers said, "K-fashion is already recognized for its high potential in the global market," and added, "For sustainable expansion, we must innovate work processes through digital transformation (DX) and enhance supply competitiveness through supply chain innovation."
