Kolmar BNH disclosed on the 10th that it will hold an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on the 26th. This follows the Daejeon District Court's acceptance of a convening request by Kolmar Holdings Vice Chairman Yoon Sang-hyun.
Through the disclosure, the company said, "This extraordinary shareholders meeting is being held at the request of the petitioning shareholder, and a board resolution is not involved." The meeting is scheduled to be held at 10 a.m. on the 26th at Sejong Technopark in Sejong.
The agenda includes appointing Vice Chairman Yoon and former CJ CheilJedang Executive Vice President Lee Seung-hwa as inside directors. With Yoon being the elder brother of Kolmar BNH CEO Yoon Yeo-won, the move is seen as an attempt to intervene directly in management, citing Kolmar BNH's poor performance.
Earlier, on 29th, CEO Yoon, in her capacity as a private shareholder, submitted an official letter to Kolmar Holdings clearly stating opposition to appointing the former executive vice president as an inside director, continuing a conflict over control.
