SSG.com announced on the 8th that it will hold its first offline festival, "Mejiam," at the S Factory D building in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, for five days from the 15th to the 19th of next month.
At this offline festival, SSG.com has created a 4,700 square meter (1,425 pyeong) space in the form of a museum to introduce various grocery and beauty brands. In collaboration with over 100 partner companies, it has prepared exhibition content with five themed displays, aiming to present a diverse range of attractions featuring exclusive grocery products, department store brands of "SSG.com Beauty," and the latest cosmetics trends.
The exhibition themes include ▲ "Gourmet Street," focused on collaboration products with star chefs, ▲ "Delight Zone," gathering booths with representative food companies such as CJ CheilJedang, Nongshim, Pulmuone, and Starbucks, ▲ "Sweet Zone," focused on coffee, desserts, and premium fruits featuring Camel Coffee, Benson, and Haagen-Dazs, ▲ "Beauty of SSG Zone," where popular beauty brands such as Byredo, Estée Lauder, SK-II, and Aestura are gathered, and ▲ "Mejiam Stage," a rooftop where visitors can enjoy the autumn weather along with performances and food.
Additionally, at "Gourmet Street," there will be a cooking talk show with star chefs, and at "Mejiam Stage," a busking performance by indie artists selected by Hyundai Card will take place. All attendees will receive special goods co-produced with the artists and various grocery and beauty gifts.
Ticket sales will begin on the 15th of this month. The regular price is 30,000 won, and members of the "Shinsegae Universe Club" and customers using the Hyundai Card SSG.com PLCC will be offered up to a 50% discount based on the timing and conditions of purchase.
Bang Seung-jae, SSG.com marketing chief, said, "We planned this event to meet customers with a variety of attractions and content in Seongsu-dong, which leads consumer trends," adding, "It will be an opportunity to meet brands and products carefully selected by SSG.com in one place."
