The retail technology corporation Kurly announced on the 3rd that it will open the 'Gourmet Hall' to showcase ready-made meals (RMR - Restaurant Meal Replacement) from renowned chefs' restaurants.
At the 'Hall of Fame' of the Gourmet Hall, which will be open until the 8th of this month, Kurly's representative RMR products can be found in one place. Various chefs, including Chef Lee Yeon-bok from 'Mokran', Chef Jeong Ho-young from 'Udonkaden', Chef Kim Tae-sung from 'Pono Buono', Chef Song Ha-seulam from 'Mamarie', Chef Jeong Ji-seon from 'Tienmimi', and Chef Kim Do-yoon from 'Yunseoul', participated, offering a wide range of dishes including Korean, Chinese, and Western cuisine.
'Mokran' and 'Udonkaden' have consistently ranked high in their categories since entering Kurly in 2020 and 2021, respectively. Chef Lee Yeon-bok's 'Mokran', with cumulative sales reaching 7 million units, is considered the most successful RMR at Kurly. Chef Jeong Ho-young's 'Udonkaden' recorded sales of 30,000 units last year. The representative product 'Original Udon' from Udonkaden has received over 17,000 reviews.
Chefs Kim Do-yoon and Kim Tae-sung, who joined this year, are quickly expanding their fan base for their RMR brands. Chef Kim Do-yoon's 'Yunseoul' launched additional bulgogi products made with a special seasoning sauce, along with three types of noodles. 'Pono Buono' has recently expanded its product line to include bakery items, fueled by the success of its flagship product 'Hidden Genius Aglio Olio.'
Additionally, Kurly introduces a 'National Restaurant Lineup' by gathering popular RMRs. For this 'Gourmet Hall', Kurly carefully selected 165 products from over 1,000 RMR items. Customers can purchase items from Apple House, Tombola, Tuk Tuk Noodle Thai, Jeonju Veteran, and more at up to 30% off.
