CJ Foodville announced on the 2nd that it has been operating a youth recruitment program in collaboration with the 'Saigon Tourist Hotel Specialized School' located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, since April.
According to CJ Foodville, an internship and recruitment-linked program was operated for students in the school's baking and pastry department, selecting 12 local students. From May, training, including store practice and teaching baking skills, was conducted at the Tous Les Jours store in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, for about three months.
Subsequently, CJ Foodville hired six individuals as employees following evaluations of job suitability and competencies. They are expected to produce bakery products and perform duties as store staff at the Tous Les Jours store in Vietnam.
In the future, regular internship programs will be conducted annually in the first and second halves of the year. To this end, efforts are currently underway to sign a business agreement with the Saigon Tourist Hotel Specialized School.
