Shinsegae Duty Free announced on the 29th that it has launched two types of GlenAllachie single cask Shinsegae exclusive (limited edition) exclusively in the duty-free industry. GlenAllachie is an independent distillery located in the heart of Scotland's Speyside.
The products that Shinsegae Duty Free is presenting this time are ▲GlenAllachie Single Cask 2012 12 Year PX (Pedro Ximénez) and ▲GlenAllachie Single Cask 2012 12 Year Oloroso. They can be found at the Shinsegae Duty Free online mall and at Incheon Airport terminals 1 and 2.
Both products were distilled in July 2012 and have not been transferred even once, being bottled after aging for 12 years until November 2024. The PX was produced in limited quantities of 716 bottles, while Oloroso was limited to 339 bottles.
Earlier, Shinsegae Duty Free had also introduced the limited edition 'GlenAllachie 12 Year PX SSG Edition' earlier this year. A representative of Shinsegae Duty Free noted, 'This exclusive single cask offers whiskey enthusiasts a special experience with both rarity and individuality,' and added, 'We will continue to strive to present differentiated products in collaboration with various global brands.'
