Kim Byung-woo, CEO of Woowa Youths, resigned for personal reasons. Kim Yong-seok, head of the customer-centered institutional sector at Woowa Brothers, has been appointed to replace Kim.
According to industry sources on the 28th, Kim announced his resignation to employees via the video conferencing platform Zoom that day. Kim has managed Woowa Youths for five years. Woowa Youths is the subsidiary responsible for the logistics services of Baemin.
Kim joined Woowa Brothers in October 2018. He has been serving as the head of the logistics institutional sector at Woowa Youths since January 2020 and was appointed CEO in September of the same year.
The newly appointed head, Kim, is a former journalist who joined Woowa Brothers in 2023. Since then, he has served as the head of the external communications center and has been in charge of the customer-centered institutional sector.
