CJ CheilJedang announced on the 27th that it will offer a limited sale of 1,000 spam gold bars in collaboration with the limited edition transaction platform 'KREAM.'
The spam gold bar introduced by CJ CheilJedang consists of six gold bar-shaped paper boxes, each containing golden spam. The product will be available for sale in a limited quantity of 1,000 on KREAM starting at 6 p.m. that day. Customers can purchase up to 10 pieces per person through the KREAM website or app.
In particular, 20 of the sale units contain 'golden tickets.' Customers who receive these tickets will be able to receive a real gold bar (1 don) valued at approximately 700,000 won.
CJ CheilJedang plans to provide unique experiences to the younger generation, starting with the sale of spam gold bars, by using artificial intelligence (AI) to create content and product experience kits.
A CJ CheilJedang official noted, "We planned the limited quantity sale on KREAM to capture the enthusiastic MZ generation (born from the late 1980s to the early 2000s) that is excited about limited editions," adding, "We hope the spam gold bar limited edition becomes a golden memory for our customers."
