OB's premium lager brand Hanmac announced on the 27th that it will participate as an official sponsor of the 30th Busan International Film Festival. Established in 1996, the Busan International Film Festival is regarded as the largest film festival in Asia.
This year's Busan International Film Festival will be held from September 17 to 26 at the Busan Cinema Center. Hanmac draft beer will be available at the festival's official events, including the opening and closing receptions and Vision Night. Additionally, there are plans to host the "Wide Angle Party," a networking event for independent filmmakers, to highlight the filmmakers' evening.
The Hanmac brand booth will operate from September 18 to 25 at the Dureraum Square of the Busan Cinema Center. On-site, visitors can purchase Hanmac draft beer and will have the chance to sample the recently released "Hanmac Extra Creamy Draft Can" if they follow Hanmac's official SNS account. There will also be a roulette event offering exclusive festival goods, a lounge area, and unique photo zones.
In particular, on September 24, a Hanmac event booth will be set up at the outdoor theater for the "Open Cinema," the representative sector of the Busan International Film Festival. It seems they will operate participatory events to continue communication with film fans.
Meanwhile, ahead of the festival opening, Hanmac is running a "Busan International Film Festival Package Promotion" at establishments selling Hanmac draft beer. Customers who order three glasses of Hanmac draft beer will receive a scratch card to check their win status on the spot. The first-place winner will receive a viewing package for the Busan International Film Festival that includes transportation, accommodation, and tickets for two, while the second-place winner will receive a limited-edition Hanmac x Busan International Film Festival exclusive glass.
