The Shilla Duty Free announced on the 27th that it opened a Chanel duplex boutique (a large store occupying two floors) at Incheon International Airport's Terminal 2 on the 22nd.
This store is the first duplex structure store introduced by The Shilla Duty Free in a domestic airport in collaboration with Chanel. It is approximately three times larger than the existing store and features clothing, bags, shoes, watches, and more.
Architect Peter Marino, who has collaborated with Chanel for a long time, was responsible for the store design. The design features white walls with black accents to evoke Chanel's packaging.
In addition, following the tradition of art patronage cherished by Chanel's founder Gabrielle Chanel, contemporary artworks are displayed within the store.
A representative from The Shilla Duty Free said, "We expect this new store to serve as a landmark at Incheon Airport in many aspects, including its size, interior design, and product selection."
The Shilla Duty Free operates brand stores such as Omega and Tiffany & Co. at Incheon International Airport's Terminal 2 and plans to open a Dior store in the first half of next year.
