Dongsuh Foods' Maxim Plant in Hannam-dong, Seoul, has launched a cool atmosphere and unique summer menu suitable for the summer. Maxim Plant is a coffee complex cultural space that showcases specialty coffee with diverse interiors that change by season. It opened in April 2018.
According to Dongsuh Foods, the cumulative number of visitors to Maxim Plant exceeded 1.4 million as of June this year.
This summer, Maxim Plant has aligned with the concept of 'Blue in Maxim Plant.' In front of the first-floor folding doors, a space reminiscent of a blue swimming pool enhances the vacation feel in the city. A blue silk curtain draped over the top of the central counter creates a cool mood.
For the seasonal limited menu, it introduced the 'Coconut Ice Latte.' The 'Coconut Ice Latte' features a summer blend espresso unique to Maxim Plant, enhanced with coconut milk for a sweet yet savory taste. It is characterized by crispy texture and unique visuals with roasted coconut flakes on top.
Also launched for the summer season is the 'Summer Blend Ice Americano.' This coffee combines the sweetness of tropical fruits such as lychee and mango with the refreshing flavor of lemon.
At the third-floor brewing lounge of Maxim Plant, customers can experience 'Synesthesia Coffee.' This program allows customers to select specialty coffee suited to their taste and experience it through various senses—taste, smell, hearing, and sight—and is considered one of Maxim Plant's main offerings.
Consumers can select their preferred flavor profile, acidity, and roasting level through a tablet, which then recommends the coffee that best suits their taste from a total of 16 varieties of specialty coffee beans. They can also enjoy poetry and music that complement this coffee.
Additionally, Maxim Plant offers various coffee classes ranging from basic classes for regular customers to learn about the fundamentals of coffee to roasting classes where they can roast and brew coffee themselves.
