Lotte Distribution Group announced on the 21st that it will hold the 1st 'Lotte Distribution Group AI Conference' at Lotte World Tower. Lotte Distribution Group will formalize its push for AI Transformation centered on Agentic AI and the realization of the Agentic Enterprise applied throughout corporations.
Agentic AI refers to autonomous AI that sets goals and analyzes environments to make optimal decisions. The Agentic Enterprise is an AI operational model that implements organizational work efficiency and decision-making automation by applying Agentic AI throughout corporations. Lotte Distribution Group plans to establish a corporate AI system that enhances overall organizational work efficiency while providing data-driven decision-making and personalized customer services.
Through the conference, Lotte Distribution Group will present its AI-based distribution innovation vision centered on the AI dedicated organization 'LaiLAC (Lotte AI Lab Alliances & Creators)'.
First, Lotte Distribution Group plans to implement Agentic AI in stages across four major areas: shopping, merchandise planning (MD), operations, and management support. Shopping Agentic AI analyzes customer preferences and interests to recommend personalized products, while MD Agentic AI automates management tasks such as setting product prices and assortments. Operations Agentic AI optimizes inventory management and orders based on AI, and management support Agentic AI reduces repetitive tasks and increases employee productivity.
Furthermore, by 2030, there are plans to build an AI platform integrating multiple Agentic AIs, achieving the Agentic Enterprise as a comprehensive AI operational system. Through strategic partnerships with domestic IT and global big tech corporations, efforts will be made to simultaneously secure technology and optimize resource efficiency, allowing for the autonomous execution of core corporate tasks such as HR, marketing, and customer support, as well as automating inter-departmental collaboration.
At the conference, prior to the opening, case studies on the application of AI from major affiliates, including Lotte Department Store and Lotte Mart/Super, as well as excellent AI utilization cases from home and abroad, will be exhibited. The event will begin with an opening speech by Kim Sang-hyun, Vice Chairman of Lotte Distribution Group, followed by lectures on the significance of Agentic AI and introduction cases from global distribution corporations. Afterward, the program will be divided into general management and distribution-specialized AI sessions to share practical applications.
