Dongwon F&B announced on the 19th that it will actively enter the ice cream market. Having selected ice cream as a new growth driver, it will also introduce a new product made from frozen Greek yogurt under its premium dairy brand "Denmark Hi (Hej!)."
The first ice cream product launched by Dongwon F&B is "Denmark Hi Greek Frozen Yogurt." This product, made from frozen Greek yogurt, is characterized by its unique refreshing taste and the rich, smooth flavor of milk. Furthermore, according to Dongwon F&B, it contains Danish probiotics and is a low-sugar and low-fat product, having just 2g of sugar and 0.6g of fat per 100ml, showing consideration for health.
Dongwon F&B plans to continuously introduce differentiated ice cream products by integrating the dairy and beverage manufacturing capabilities it has accumulated over the past 40 years. With a range of dairy products, including fermented milk, white liquid milk, processed milk, and coffee, as well as beverages like matcha and black tea, Dongwon F&B aims to achieve high market competitiveness with ice creams that utilize these products.
A representative from Dongwon F&B noted that "ice creams that take into account nutritional components such as calories and sugars are gaining attention in line with the Healthy Pleasure trend of enjoying health."
