Amway Korea announced on the 12th that it has launched "NEWTREE Vitamin D3+K2," which combines high-dose vitamin D3 and vitamin K2.
According to Amway Korea, the product introduced this time features vitamin D3, which helps with calcium absorption and bone formation and maintenance, combined with vitamin K2, which aids in the transport of calcium from the blood to the bones. Notably, just one tablet a day provides the recommended high dose of 2000 IU of vitamin D3.
Vitamin D, which is essential for bone health, is primarily divided into D3 and D2. Vitamin D3, which is naturally produced in the skin when exposed to sunlight, has a higher absorption rate in the body compared to vitamin D2. Vitamin K2, a plant-based component derived from fermented foods, has a higher utilization rate in the body than vitamin K1 found in green vegetables.
Amway Korea explained that it has found the optimal combination of the two nutrients through its unique technology and maximized the absorption rate. Vitamin D3 was manufactured using UV technology, while vitamin K2 was produced through fermentation. The main ingredient is powdered mushroom that has been certified by Amway's NEWTREE, enhancing safety and quality.
