Seven-Eleven announced on the 10th that it will introduce 'new integrated scale delivery equipment' starting from the 11th to strengthen its role as a hub for lifestyle services.
By November, it is expected to supply a total of about 3,000 new devices to nationwide stores, with 1,000 units being distributed each month. The company explained that it introduced this equipment to provide fast and convenient services in line with the rapidly increasing demand for convenience store deliveries.
The new equipment is designed with an intuitive interface that allows users to easily and conveniently select desired functions. It can check dimensions (weight and length) prior to delivery acceptance through the 'digital tape measure,' which helps prevent returns due to non-compliance with specifications, while 'delivery tracking and reprinting of waybills' reduces the risk of loss and enables real-time delivery tracking.
If registered as a member of the Seven-Eleven application (app), customers can use the service at a uniform price regardless of weight.
Seven-Eleven offers a discount of 500 won when using general delivery through its mobile app until the end of this month.
A Seven-Eleven official noted, 'We will continue to expand various lifestyle convenience services to become a future-oriented convenience store that provides the best value to our customers.'
