Comprehensive liquor company Ayoung FBC announced on the 7th that its flagship wine brand "Diablo" has surpassed cumulative sales of 25,000 bottles for its wellness concept product, the "Belight" series, in just one year since its launch.
The Belight series, launched in 2023, features a low calorie count of under 70 kcal per 125 ml and a light alcohol content of 8.5%, showcasing a refreshing style. It has gained attention as a wine for runners, as it can be enjoyed without burden even during the hot summer months or after exercise.
"Diablo Belight Sauvignon Blanc" has recorded double-digit growth as a single item. In June, it was launched in convenience stores, including red and rosé varieties. Diablo Belight Sauvignon Blanc won a gold medal at the "Concours Mondial de Bruxelles (CMB)" this year, and Diablo Belight Red took home a silver medal.
Diablo Belight Sauvignon Blanc starts with aromas of white peaches, pears, and herbs, enveloping the palate with citrus acidity. Thanks to its easy-to-drink body and clean finish, it pairs particularly well with summer seafood like clams and fish. Diablo Belight Red leaves a smooth and harmonious impression with a backdrop of red fruit aromas such as blueberries, raspberries, and cassis, complemented by subtle vanilla flavor.
An Ayoung FBC representative noted, "Diablo Belight is not just a low-alcohol wine but leads a wellness drinking category that can be enjoyed naturally across the boundaries of exercise and daily life." He added, "We plan to expand the brand's lifestyle through collaborations with various communities in the future."
