The premium soju brand K Korea recommended its traditional distilled "KHEE Soju" as a summer drink on the 7th.
KHEE Soju is distilled soju made from 100% domestically sourced rice and natural bedrock water from 150 meters underground. It contains no artificial additives. Unlike diluted soju sold in stores, it undergoes a unique fermentation process, is vacuum distilled, and naturally matures in traditional earthenware for 180 days.
KHEE Soju is available in 22-degree and 38-degree variants. The 22-degree KHEE Soju has a smooth finish and a subtle rice aroma. The manufacturer explains that it pairs well with high-end Korean cuisine.
The 38-degree KHEE Soju is regarded as "a soju beyond soju" among overseas bartenders and whiskey enthusiasts. It has a strong flavor and aroma characteristic of distilled spirits. While it is mainly consumed as a cold shot or on the rocks, there is a growing trend to enjoy it as a highball in line with recent trends.
KHEE Soju is sold at the private membership bar "KHEE Cheongdam" located in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam, Seoul. K Korea is also collaborating with hotels and restaurants in major cities across Asia, including Singapore and Thailand.
A representative from K Korea noted, "KHEE Soju connects tradition and modernity and combines Korea's identity with the world," adding, "As our slogan 'KHEE, for the Key Moments' suggests, we hope that every moment shared with KHEE Soju becomes special."
