GS Retail's convenience store GS25 announced on the 3rd that it will conduct a 'Drinking Festa' throughout August, offering discounts of up to 50% on over 1,700 types of summer food, daily necessities, and fresh products.
Applicable items for the event include bottled water, ice cream, beer, beverages, and daily necessities. According to GS25, from the 25th to the 31st of last month, ice cream sales increased by 44.3% compared to the same month last year, and beer sales rose by 31.6%. During the same period, bottled water sales grew by 28.2%, beverages by 27.6%, and daily necessities by 18.5%.
Considering this, GS25 is selling 1+1 (one plus one) packs of Iceis bottled water for 550 won each. The 2-liter (6-pack) product of Iceis is discounted by 44%. Beverages such as Pepsi Zero, Chilsung Cider, and corn silk tea in 1.5-liter large PET bottles are available for 6,000 won for 3 bottles (cross purchase allowed), while 13 types of large canned carbonated drinks can be purchased for 6,000 won for 4 cans (cross purchase allowed). All Haagen-Dazs products will get a 40% discount when purchasing 2 or more, along with additional QR discounts from partner cards, resulting in a maximum discount of 50%.
Five types of large beers including Stella, Budweiser, Tsingtao, Asahi draft beer, and ORION draft are available for purchase at 12,000 won for 6 cans when paying with a partner card QR code. Additionally, discounts will be applied to ▲Chuhangchum Soft 360㎖ single packs (6 bottles) ▲New Bottle 360㎖ single packs (6 bottles) ▲New 400㎖ single packs (6 bottles) ▲Chuhangchum Soft 640㎖ single packs (4 bottles).
Also, throughout August, customers who purchase 4 types of GS25's private brand, Yours 2-minute cups, will receive complimentary 백미밥 (white rice), and a 1+1 event for Wang Top Noodles (6 packets) will be conducted. From the 1st to the 15th, a monthly event called 'Super Special Sale' will take place, and from the 16th to the end of the month, Fresh Week will be held featuring over 10 types including peaches, seasoned pork, and sweet potato snacks.
