Theborn Korea recently stated that it supported a coffee truck from 'Baekdabang' at the disaster recovery site in Gapyeong County, Gyeonggi Province, which suffered significant damage due to recent heavy rainfall.
According to Theborn Korea, the day before, it sent a Baekdabang coffee truck to the disaster recovery site in Gapyeong County, providing beverages to over 500 volunteers from the Korean Red Cross, military personnel, police, and firefighters. Gapyeong County is currently designated as a special disaster area, with recovery efforts ongoing even amid the heat wave.
Earlier, on 18th, Theborn Korea operated an emergency meal support volunteer team in areas of Yesan County, Chungcheongnam-do, which were affected by record rainfall, sending support to disaster victims and recovery workers. Based in the Theborn Food Industry Development Center in Yesan County, it provided a total of over 5,500 lunch boxes to about 20 temporary shelters and prepared food supplies for about 10,000 servings. On 22nd, it supported volunteers at the disaster recovery site in Hongseong County, Chungcheongnam-do, with 22,000 bottles of water, 300 boxes of coffee, and 300 boxes of cup noodles.
A representative from Theborn Korea noted, "We supported the coffee truck as a gesture of gratitude, allowing those quietly continuing the recovery work at the site during the heat wave to feel a moment of coolness," and added, "If there are places in need of assistance in the future, we will fulfill our social responsibility to ensure prompt and practical help."
