Pulmuone Food and Culture announced on the 31st that it has signed a strategic business agreement with Remidi, which holds the domestic business rights to the French premium bakery brand "Gontran Cherrier." Through this, the introduction of the brand will be actively pursued, focusing on concession business sites such as rest areas and airports.
According to Pulmuone Food and Culture, a strategic business agreement ceremony took place the previous day at the company's headquarters in Songpa-gu, Seoul. The ceremony was attended by Lee Dong-hoon, the CEO of Pulmuone Food and Culture, Park Se-in, the representative of Remidi, and stakeholders including the executive chef of Gontran Cherrier.
This business partnership was initiated to maximize synergy in the food service institutional sector by sharing the core competencies and know-how of both companies. To this end, Pulmuone Food and Culture plans to prioritize the entry of the Gontran Cherrier brand into its operational concession business sites at airports, highway rest areas, and catering establishments.
Pulmuone Food and Culture stated that it will prioritize reviewing the entry of Gontran Cherrier into newly established or renovated rest areas and concession stores. To this end, Pulmuone Food and Culture is preparing to open a Gontran Cherrier store in the general area of Cheongju International Airport in October.
The CEO noted, "We are providing customers with a differentiated dining experience through strategic partnerships with premium dining brands both domestically and internationally," adding, "This agreement is expected to further enhance the quality of food service spaces at rest areas and concessions and improve customer satisfaction."
